THE OPEN DOOR ACTING COMPANY is one of the results of a natural mentorship that formed between actor, writer, director, film maker, teacher, ARTIST, Carl Stillitano and Open Door’s Erin Flowers. Stillitano gave Flowers the opportunity to walk along his path of being an artist for over a decade; including her in all of his projects such as the making 2 feature films, producing of 4 original Off Off Broadway plays, teaching 1,000 plus students in classes and workshops and genuinely and profoundly impacting peoples lives. Erin is humbled to serve as Open Door’s teacher and feels that “keeping the Spirit of the work alive” is an important part of giving back what was given so freely and has meant so much in her life as an artist and human being.
